The word hemorrhoid are the combination of two ancient Greek words "Haema" means blood and "Rhoos" means flowing. So, it's like the flowing of blood from your anus area.
And that's the real origin of the word HEMORRHOIDS that you are trying to get rid of them right now.
Besides hemorrhoid, you can spell as Haemorrhoids or Hemroids too. Or, in UK, it's called PILES.
